People are talking about you online. Your fans. Your upset customers. Are you listening? Are you engaging? Are you controlling your brand? As a business owner, you need to know what people are saying about your company online.
I was asked to create and lead a seminar for the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce this week for their Brown Bag Lunch Series entitled, “5 Steps To Managing Your Online Reputation”. Speaking to a full house of small business owners, I had a chance to advise them on what they should be doing to ensure they are monitoring their online reputation. I started by asking them these questions that I ask you to consider, as well.
Ask yourself these questions:
1. Have you Googled your company lately to see if people are singing your praises or reporting you on recommendation sites like Yelp and TripAdvisor?
1. Realize you NEED to manage your online reputation and engage your customers.
I invite you to contact me directly if you need help in setting up and maintaining any of the sites I mention in this presentation.
