Do Something Every Day To Move Your Life Needle

do-something-today-that-your-future-self-will-thank-you-forI met a real estate coach this week at the Xplode conference (Genny Williams) and her promise is that she can help Realtors make a six figure income. That made me think about what do we do each day to get us to where we want to go so when we look back, we actually WENT SOMEWHERE.

Not just in earning more money, but in staying physically in shape, eating well, surrounding ourselves with smart, compassionate and helpful friends, meditating, writing content for a blog, volunteering to help make things happen in a community, etc.  Whatever it is that incrementally when done each day, moves the needle to a point when you can see the BIG accomplishment, not from one day’s worth of work, but from steps taken over time to get there.

I am not a motivational coach, even though that would be a fun thing to do in my life, but if I can just say “let’s all move the needle”!  By making a mental focus to do something today that our future selves would thank us for, we’d all be living happier and healthier lives.

Now, go out for a walk, eat some broccoli, vote and have a great day!

    Wow Julie,
Your expertise and professionalism are so impressive. Christy and I got many take aways from your input and suggestions. Never doubt, you make that needle move for people every day! You do so well, what many people find impossible to do. Exactly like you said, we all want to feel like our days spent working are worth the time and energy. Personal achievements and accomplishments are easy when we are working within our passion. I heard you say it at Xplode and I am lucky enough to witness this truth every day!
    Thanks for making an impact!

Thanks Genny! I have learned the ONE thing that makes the biggest difference…FOCUS. You have to set your intentions to make things happen. I love meeting people like you who are NEEDLE MOVERS!!

Thanks Pat! Appreciate that. I was just thinking that anything BIG you want in your life, has to come from incremental things you do almost every day to get you there, right?
